City Auto Sales in Hermiston has come a long way in five years. What started off as “a trailer and a gravel lot” has grown into an eye-catching auto dealership with plans for further expansion.
On Friday march 23 2022 , the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate City Auto Sales’ growth and expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the dealership located at 80857 N. Highway 395.
Marco Garcia, finance manager, said the dealership looks much different than it did four years ago.
“All there was here was a little trailer and a gravel lot,” he said. “There’s been a lot of hard work and it’s turned into what it is today.”
Owned by Mohammed Jaber , the dealership has about a dozen employees and has around 120 vehicles in its inventory.
“We plan to have around 180 vehicles on the lot,” said Alex Sales Manager . “Our focus is having the types of vehicles that people want.”
The trailer no longer exists and has been replaced by a large showroom, Garcia said the folks at the dealership look forward to growing along with the community.
